A bit of my background and training:

I was a non-traditional college student, beginning at a community college and transferring to California State University, San Bernardino where I earned my B.S. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology. My Master’s program training centered on family systems, humanistic, attachment, existential, and psychodynamic theories and included specific training for couples from the work of both John Gottman and Sue Johnson. I have done extensive ongoing training since first being licensed in California in 2016. My current orientation to therapy and healing is intricate and integrated, as I believe this reflects the journey of human growth and development. In addition to my clinical training I have a vast array of profound and dialectic personal experiences that have expanded the depth and breadth of not only empathy and compassion for various experiences, yet also broadened my perspective of what is possible and the nature of change. I view the journey we share in therapy and on this planet as sacred and am grateful to share it with those with whom I meet.

A bit of my personal world:

I live with my wife and a number of family members on land we collectively own, maintain, and use to support our individual and collective dreams. We do a little farming, currently have 46 chicken residents, and enjoy sharing meals, companionship, and work. I avidly crochet, seek water activities whenever the weather even slightly permits, and am beginning to write my first book.
